About

Some people find their way to poetry in a crisis.

A breakup. A loss. A Tuesday that felt like it might break them. They searched for something — maybe they didn't even know what — and a poem found them instead. Said the thing they couldn't say. Made them feel less alone in whatever room they were sitting in.

That's how I found mine.

I'm Elara West. I write poems for the moments that matter and the moments that don't have a name yet. For grief that doesn't look like grief. For love that's complicated. For the feeling of standing at the beginning of something and not knowing whether to be afraid or grateful — and deciding it might be both.

PoeticDestiny began because I believed that poetry shouldn't live only in books on shelves. It should be in your phone at 2am. In your notes app. Folded into a card you leave on someone's pillow. Sent to a friend who needs to know you were thinking of them.

Every poem here is written for you — for the version of you reading it on a specific day, in a specific mood, needing a specific thing. Some of them will land. Some won't. That's how it should be.

If you'd like something written just for you — for a person, a moment, an occasion — you can request a custom poem here. I'll write it from scratch, for you, and you alone.

Until then: I hope something here finds you at exactly the right moment.
